Glimpses Summer

Here are the first pictures of the summer! Start by saying that summer is definitely atypical. We are almost at the end of July and it seems to me to make a huge effort to get to the last day of work. That haunted me every time I tried to come up kite I'm blessed! Imagine scene: arrival on site, the wind is blowing, the time to assemble the kite (3 sticks are made on the cross, stuff 2 minutes) that the wind always went down the drain. This thing has haunted me all year! Do you realize? Last week, finally, there was wind, and even a lot. What a sight!

Cosa c'è di meglio per innaugurare la stagione estiva se non un bel bagno in piscina? Se poi la piscina (anche se molto piccola) ce l'hai dentro casa la cosa è fantastica. Certo, non si possono mettere in paragone l'Aquapiper con la Varadero 350, ma quando si hanno 2 bambini piccoli, la cosa assume tutta un'altra prospettiva: niente traffico, niente calca, frigorifero sempre a portata di mano... e in caso di necessità il cambio del pannolino lo si riesce a gestire meglio ;-)

Se come me, mentre sto scrivendo questo post, state facendo la schiuma (non quella della birra) allora vedere le foto scatenerà in voi 2 tipi reactions: autoconvinverete that there really is not as warm clear water that surrounds you or your perspiration will increase dramatically!

June 18. Today 'on June 18 and for me it' s a different June.
Few today remember a year ago. So even if many were waiting that time. I like to think that you are reminded of that Thursday 'June 18, 2009.

I do not tend to fish out the past too, but there are certain events that can not get away easily, even if I have to take them back to swim against a raging river.

I was in Italy a year ago. And I just got back from England. My mother and my sister were waiting at the airport to the tune of a wedding march and I came in with two bags full of gifts and clothes. I remember everything about that day, the sun of Rome, the morning jog, his message, the enalotto, my preparation. The Americans tried
clothes and marched to my mother. 20 minutes by taxi to Trastevere. The meeting. From far far. The handkerchief white. The hug. A kiss. The first.

sink into those memories and 'how to be part of that day still, at that time.
Then I open and close my eyes, there 'this computer and these words.

There 's a bitter sadness. There 's that light, the heat, that elegance, that day in Rome to occupy the mind.
